I don’t understand either side of this.

The families of several never found 9/11 victims are suing the city of New York for the right to sift through debris that was taken away from the WTC  in hopes of identifying relatives’ remains.  A lower court has already ruled that the city workers who worked through the WTC debris followed procedure and the remains are not capable of being found.  Isn’t there some sort of precedent? If loved ones remains still haven’t been found 8 years later, I don’t think they’re going to be.  Don’t they want to just move on, they aren’t dealing with their losses and are instead focusing on this perceived failure.

That being said, here is one of the worst quotes, not taken out of context by someone on the other side:

“All that’s left here is a bunch of undifferentiated dust,” Mr. Tyrrell added
