Will Comedy Central’s Hashtag Catch On?

Everyone and their brother is trying to get the Twitterverse to live tweet along with their hashag.

Generally, this has failed when it didn’t happen organically.  I mean, I love Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia but why would FX include FX in the hashtag?  People are tuning in for show not the network.  Why not have “Charlie” live tweet along with each episode?  I am actually surprised more shows haven’t gone this route.

So, I think Comedy Central started showing each show’s hashtag in a very unintrusive way in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.  For some reason I think this is going to become standard operating procedure for shows…
